The site doesn’t only serve buyers, sellers also have the chance to register and sell Egyptian-made products and get paid in Egyptian pound currency. Simply by registering and filling out a form online. EG Gate will check the documents of sellers and approve them within 3-5 business days. A free membership registration is possible, however, there's a 20% commission fee. The payment is 20% of the selling products. As a seller you will get charged if customers returned an item, in case it was damaged or if they received the wrong order. Ordering isn’t difficult, users simply select the items they would order and select the quantity to add to the cart. By creating an account, users can checkout and place their order, and also they have the choice to apply promo codes. Users can edit the shipping, billing information, and choose whether it’s a single shipment or multiple, in addition to selecting the shipping method. During checkout, users can know the shipping charges and additional taxes. Wish lists can also be created to save items for later. Items can be returned if the order is incorrect or if the item is damaged. However, there will be a postage cost and import fees deposit. If the item is no longer needed by the user, there’s a possibility of returning it at the users’ own expense. However, items can only be returned within 30 days of delivery. The return process might take about 25 days till it is received, then it takes 3-5 business days for the refund to be processed. And another 3-5 days for the amount to show up in users’ accounts. Returning an item is at the users own expense, EG-Gate will refund orders of up to 15USD for postage costs automatically. But if the return postage charge is more than 15USD, users can contact customer service and request a refund for the additional postage money paid. If you are returning an item that is more than 100USD, pay the shipment for the item and ship the item with any of the shipping services available in the region. EG-Gate won’t be able to refund the money unless they have received the order. All associated packaging must be returned with the item, such as price tags, labels, freebies and accessories. Items must also be returned with their original documentation or else they won’t be accepted. If the product has been used or damaged by the user it can't be returned.
